Aaron Rodgers Wins Fourth NFL MVP Award

Green Bay Packers Quarterback Wins Consecutive MVPs

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has won his fourth NFL MVP award, becoming the fifth player in NFL history to win consecutive MVPs. The award was announced during the NFL Honors show on Thursday night.

Rodgers' Tumultuous Season

Rodgers' 2021 season was filled with drama, as he publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the Packers and requested a trade. However, he ultimately decided to return to Green Bay and led the team to a 13-4 record and a playoff berth.

Record-Setting Season

Despite the off-field drama, Rodgers had a stellar season on the field. He threw for 4,115 yards, 37 touchdowns, and just four interceptions. He also led the NFL in passer rating (111.9) and completion percentage (68.9%).

Historic Achievement

Rodgers' fourth MVP award ties him with Peyton Manning for the second-most MVP awards in NFL history, behind only Tom Brady's five. He is also the first player in NFL history to win the MVP award in three different decades (2010s, 2020s, and 2030s).
