Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is a fitness doubt for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Bournemouth with a hamstring issue.

The Brazilian missed the midweek Carabao Cup victory over Derby with the problem and Jurgen Klopp admits he is ‘not sure’ if he will be fit to face the Cherries.

“We have to see,” said Klopp. “He felt something, not too much but enough to not make sense to play him. We have to see how he will react now. I’m not sure, we will see.”

If Alisson is ruled out, Adrian will deputise in goal, as he did against Derby.

Klopp also revealed that Joe Gomez is still not ready to return from a long-term ankle injury, while James Milner is also a doubt with a muscle problem. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains sidelined with an ankle issue.

Liverpool will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 2-2 draw with Wolves last weekend when they face Bournemouth, who are currently 16th in the Premier League table.
