Palhinha Isn't Concerned About His Role at Bayern
João Palhinha has been a bit-part player at Bayern Munich since arriving from Sporting Lisbon, but the midfielder isn't concerned about his lack of starts.
The Portugal international has started just eight times in all competitions for Bayern this season, but he has made a valuable contribution when called upon, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
Palhinha Impressed With Kimmich
Palhinha has been impressed with the performances of his teammate Joshua Kimmich, who has been one of the best midfielders in the world in recent years.
“Kimmich is a great player,” Palhinha said. “He's very intelligent and has a great passing range. He's also a great leader.”
Palhinha Eager to Learn
Palhinha is eager to learn from Kimmich and improve his own game.
“I'm still learning from him, but I'm already a better player because of him,” Palhinha said. “I'm very grateful to be playing with him.”
