Indiana Fever Trim Roster to 12
Rookies Make Final Cut
LAS VEGAS, Nev. - June 24, 2023
The Indiana Fever have made their final roster cuts, trimming the team down to 12 players with eight days remaining before the regular season begins.
Among the players who made the cut are three rookies: Grace Berger, Aliyah Boston, and Victaria Saxton. Berger and Boston were both first-round picks in the 2023 WNBA Draft, while Saxton was a second-round selection. All three players have impressed the Fever's coaching staff throughout training camp and preseason.
The Fever also announced Thursday that they have waived guard Erica Wheeler and forward Breanna Stewart. Wheeler was acquired by the Fever in a trade with the Atlanta Dream in February, while Stewart was signed as a free agent in May. Both players will now be eligible to sign with other WNBA teams.
The Fever's final roster consists of the following players:

The Fever will play their final preseason game on Sunday, June 26 against the Minnesota Lynx in Minneapolis. The regular season begins on Saturday, July 1 against the Atlanta Dream in Indianapolis.
